You have 15 seconds to type as much of the passage as you can. The clock starts with your first keystroke and stops when the timer reaches zero or when the passage is complete.

Your result is calculated as you go: speed (WPM) and accuracy. When the run ends, your result is shown. Only a server-verified run can be submitted to the online leaderboard.

Yes. The typing challenge and leaderboard are free to use. A separate payment is only required if you choose to claim a brand placement on an available key.

WPM counts the characters you typed correctly, divided by five (the standard word length) and divided by the elapsed minutes.

Accuracy is the share of typed characters that matched the passage. Errors you leave in place cost you accuracy — backspacing to fix them does not.

They are original passages written for RobinType — no scraped articles and no copyrighted text. A passage is picked at random each run.

No. Before your run you enter a display name and an X handle. The profile is stored in your browser. If you submit a completed run, the display name, X handle, result and optional website/avatar are shown on the public leaderboard.

Every finished passage can be submitted. The board is ranked by WPM, then accuracy, then the earliest submission. You can filter by All Time, This Week or Today.

Two ways. Finish in the top three of today's leaderboard and your logo takes a daily key for a day. Finish in the top seven of this week and it takes a weekly key for a week.

Separately, you can claim a placement outright: buy a specific key on the board for a fixed term and own it regardless of leaderboard position.

Placements are linked to the buyer and key selected at checkout. RobinType does not currently provide a transfer or resale feature. Contact us before making a purchase if your brand details need to change.

Daily and weekly leaderboard keys rotate automatically — the next winners take the key. A purchased placement runs for the term you bought (for example 7, 30 or 365 days) and then returns to the available pool.

Review the checkout draft before sending payment. Contact us as soon as possible with your checkout reference if something is wrong. We cannot guarantee changes after a placement has been activated.

Your logo is drawn on the keycap itself and appears on the board for everyone. A wide banner suits keys such as Space; a square logo suits standard keys. Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP image up to 2 MB. SVG files and external image URLs are not accepted.

Yes. If the artwork has an ownership, content, legibility or production problem we will contact you and ask for a replacement. The placement stays yours while that is sorted out. See Terms for the artwork rules.

Checkout shows every token currently accepted, with the price converted into that token at the rate used when the payment is created. Availability depends on the network the site is running on.

The small unique fraction identifies your payment. Instead of asking you to send a transaction hash, we match the exact amount you send against your checkout — so the amount must be sent exactly as shown, without rounding.

Payments are matched automatically by a watcher that scans incoming transfers every few minutes. Confirmation depends on the network and normally follows after the transfer is included in a block.

Do not send a second payment. Contact us with the transaction hash and your checkout reference and we will review it manually.

No. A checkout holds a reserved amount for thirty minutes. If the window closes without a matching transfer, the amount is released and the key returns to the available pool. Simply start a new checkout. Nothing is charged until you actually send a transfer.

Placements are final once activated, and artwork changes do not create a right to a refund. This does not limit any right you have under applicable law. The full wording is in Terms.
